Make sure the size of your floor before applying the grout colors, so you know how much dye to buy. Always buy more than you need so you will not have to make a second trip. Estimate 20% during sq. Ft. Scope. If you nat brown and you want to paint it white, you might have to apply two coats, so keep this in mind when buying coloring.
Once you have acid washed the floor, you'll need to wait 24 hours before applying the dye. There can be absolutely no moisture in the grout lines, because the paint also contains a sealer that helps bond the color. Also, you might want to record from all the border to avoid any paint on them. Important note: Wait 5 to 7 days after painting your grout lines to mop your floor. Do not use detergents, 4 oz. vinegar for every gallon of water will work fine.
Shake your paint vigorously for 30 seconds to ensure the sealer and paint mix well.
